How long does the plug last?
The rubber expands inside the tyre and the iron core grips firmly. Most users report the plug staying secure for the entire life of the tyre. Industry-wide, any external plug is technically a "drive-away repair" — some drivers eventually get a permanent patch from a tyre shop, but many drive on the plug for years.
